So excited to share all of my favorite things in my favorite city with you! In Nashville you’ll be sure to find the happiest people, the best music & fun around every corner!
WHERE TO STAY
The JW Marriott // Our favorite hotel especially during pool season. Make a happy hour reservation at Burbon Steak for their espresso martini & some of the BEST views of the city!
The Graduate // Love this hotel for a girls weekend, it is beyond gorgeous (Dolly Parton theme!!) and has an incredible rooftoop pool & bar. You have to make reservations way in advance but worth it. Also they have the best breakfast sandwich in Nashville in their lobby Pointdexter Coffee shop!
The Noelle & The Thompson are also both beautiful hotels with great location & dining options!
Airbnb // If you’re coming with a group or family, an airbnb may be the way to go! There are tons of great options all over the city, but I’d recommend somewhere near downtown or in 12 South.
FAVORITE RESTAURANTS
Bartaco (always and forever!) is the happiest restaurant with the best vibe and food! It’s so laid back and even the ordering style is different than most places, super kid friendly as well. We love the pork belly tacos, chicken soup, poke & the esquites, but honestly the entire menu is a win. They also have THE best margaritas.
Pharmacy Burger in East Nashville (gotta get a table outside in the beer garden).
Makeready in Printers Alley at the Noelle, also so beautiful.
Burger UP for fry flights (and burgers obvi), also so cozy for a date night.
Urban Grub patio is the dreamiest of dreams!
Josephine for brunch or a late night upscale dinner reservation.
Biscuit Love in the Gulch, it is a tourist spot so expect the line to be long but it’s definitely worth the wait.
Butchertown Hall is one of our fave spots for brunch, also so much design inspo!
A few more places that have come HIGHLY recommended but we haven’t been yet: Jeff Ruby’s, Skulls Rainbow Room, Lou Nashville, City House, Liberty Common and Locust. Did I say weekend guide? You may need a month.
FAVORITE BARS
BROADWAY obviously. Tootsies ALWAYS lives up to the hype and is our number one!! Honky Tonk Central, Rippy’s and Roberts are also faves on Broadway. Twelve Thirty Club is another fun spot on Broadway if you want a more upscale but low key atmosphere. Their rooftop has great views too!
Losers in Midtown also has some of the best music in the city!
Patterson House for upscale cocktails.
Mothers Ruin for a cozy date night.
Barcelona if wine & tapas are more your thing.
FAVORITE SHOPPING
12 South is my favorite place to spend the day, White’s Mercantile & Imogene + Willie are two of the best local spots that never disappoint. Also while you’re here don’t miss all the murals, so fun for photo opps.
H. Audrey & White’s Mercantile in Green Hills
L&L Market
MORE FUN TO BE HAD
Five Daughters Donuts for the best donut of your life.
Frothy Monkey for the coziest patio breakfast.
Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Bowl and/or brunch at Pinewood Social! Best coffee award goes to Crema coffee inside!
See a show at the Ryman or Grand Ole Opry.
Grab flowers (or at least photos!) at Amelia’s Flower Truck.
FOR THE KIDS // Nashville all around is very kid friendly, especially before 5pm. Our favorite spot for live music is ACME on Broadway, they have great food and such a fun laid back atmosphere. Assembly Food Hall at 5th and Broadway is also a fun spot to go with kids because it hosts lots of local favorite restaurants in a dining all type experience.
If you want more of an outdoorsy adventure, check out Cheekwood (especially in the Fall!) or Leipers Fork. Wines in the Fork was one of the most fun day trips we’ve had with the kids, there is live music and kids can take their shoes off and walk in the creek while you enjoy lounging in patio chairs under the string lights! Lunch at Fox & Locke just down the street is also such a fun time & don’t miss shopping at all the fun stores nearby!
If you’re visiting or have been before, be sure to let us know your faves in the comments! XO

Loving the recommendation of rippy’s— I got so drunk there my first visit (and first bar in nash) that I was hungover for the entirety of the trip 🤦🏼♀️ Can’t wait to visit again and actually enjoy the rest of Nashville 😂

I just got back from NVL a couple weeks ago and really liked what we saw of the city. I love thrifting and really enjoyed Cool Stuff Weird Things on Charlotte Avenue and then a nice latte nextdoor at Headquarters Coffee, which is the tiniest but cozy coffee shop. I think my favorite meals we had were at Pinewood Social and The Smiling Elephant (Thai food). The amount of food on my plate at The Smiling Elephant was insane and the owner/manager was so sweet trying to find a t-shirt in my size/color :). I look forward to visiting again soon and seeing more of Music City!
