Fall Favorites for the Home

This morning after I dropped the girls off at school, I came home, grabbed my favorite cozy sweater & popped right back out the door to walk to our neighborhood coffee shop. It was 65 degrees & overcast, and basically my dream morning!! On my walk home, I noticed one of the home decor shops had all of their Halloween decor already up in the front window, so not only did I have to go inside to see it all, but I also decided that Summer is dead to me and I’m moving on! 😉 I had this post prepped for September first, but here we are. All of my Fall favorites for the home!!!

That white pom blanket that we have at the bottom of our bed might be one of my favorite purchases of all time!! It’s the perfect weight for napping but also gives a bed so much texture, loving this for Fall but really it’s the perfect blanket to keep on the bed all year. Our bedroom is probably one of the rooms in the house we have given the least thought to since we moved in, we have a new headboard coming soon and I think that will be the motivation that I need to get it all put together.

In the kitchen, lots of cutting boards, copper & gold accents and all the Fall cookbooks! A few of my favorites are Purely Pumpkin, Soup Nights & the most gorgeous book ever, Platters & Boards. I picked up those gingham napkins over the summer & they are back in stock, they are super affordable and perfect for Fall entertaining!

Outside, I’m obsessed with these galvanized pumpkin luminaries paired with the black cat door mat! This buffalo check doormat is also another favorite for Fall, the size is ideal if you have a larger front step or entryway if you wanted it inside. Add all the string lights & pumpkins and you’re set!!
