When we came to our house for the very first time, it was snowing. Everything was dormant outside & the backyard was a complete jungle. We knew it had tons of potential and couldn’t wait to give it a refresh over the Summer. Today we are excited to be teaming up with Arhaus, one of one of our favorite places to go for home décor & furniture, to share our before & after of our back patio!
I thought It would be fun to show how we use our patio in the evening & again in the morning. We love to sit out here under the string lights after the girls are in bed with a cocktail & some good music! In the mornings, this is the perfect spot for coffee & breakfast before it gets too hot!
Since we spend a ton of time on our patio, we knew we wanted some super comfy seating. We chose the Arhaus sofa & coffee table, which are not only gorgeous but super practical. The cushions have slipcovers that are easy to wash, although using a leaf blower has taken care of anything that has gotten on them so far! The coffee table is on wheels, so we can move it around depending on what we are doing, and it has a hidden drawer for the cushions or other pillows/blankets that we bring outside. We seriously could not be happier with it and love how it brings such a cozy element to the patio!

The Taylor Sofa in Howell Coal or Howell Night (can’t decide which color I like better!) is EXACTLY what my husband and I have been searching for! The design looks sleek and modern, yet also comfy cozy. The upholstery looks durable, which is great since we are planning to start a family soon. 😉 Also eyeing the French stripe lumbar pillow in white and charcoal (along with a few others) to toss on the sofa.

We built a big ole deck in 2015 and finally this year we were able to build our own farm house table to enjoy breakfast on and dinner. It turned out sooo nice! Unfortunately our deck gets so much sun during the afternoon so lunch on the deck doesn’t happen yet. One of their patio umbrellas would be super awesome to have!
