Happy Friday, friends! Brandon’s parents have been here visiting from Iowa since Saturday, it was so fun having them and the girls have become totally attached. We are so sad to see them go today. Living far away from family is never easy, it breaks my heart when the girls have to say goodbye. This week has felt like a mini vacation, we went to the zoo & the splash pad, and have pretty much turned our backyard into a mini water park with an inflatable pool, slip-n-slide and sprinkler. Now all we need is the ice cream truck to swing by & we will be set! 😉
The girls are officially done with school so we wrote out our Summer bucket list & are ready to start checking things off. If you have never done one with your kids, I highly recommend it. It is so fun to compile the list & get the kids excited, but also always gives you so many ideas for where to start when you are making all of your Summer plans! Harper will be starting kindergarten so soon, which I can hardly believe, so I am going to soak up every last minute of having all three of my girls with me all day long. Even when it is 110 degrees outside, we are going to make it the best summer ever.
Can you tell which number was all Harper’s idea?
What are your summer plans?! Would love to hear your ideas & plans!! XO

Our summer bucket list sounds about the same minus the tutus (boy mom! lol!) ! 😀 Pizza on the grill sounds amazing! Maybe i should add that to my list too!

Love the bucket list idea; however, if I asked my 3.5 year old son, his answer would likely be “go on a snake hunt” for all items on our list. Might have to steal some of yours!! ❤️

Such a great idea! My little guy is almost 3, so I am so excited for a fun summer. I know that he will love the beach, and I also want to take him to first baseball game, first movie, and first fireworks. Also, Great Wolf Lodge for his 3rd bday!

So fun, we just put out a fairy garden yesterday! I got them to put it just outside the lanai within view of the slider door and they are constantly peeking out and checking for fairies, so cute. We are also going to a watermelon festival and a new laser tag place that just opened up, learning about medicinal herbs (we are currently obsessed with cinnamon and thyme tea and the Herb Fairy books) and learning to tie shoes bc they are slow at that shiz on school mornings. Your list sounds fun, I bet my girls would flip out to get ice cream in tutus, harper’s a genius!

Wear tutus and get ice cream?! If not Harper, that’s my kind of summer 🙂 So fun, thanks for sharing!

OK….Does Eloise’s swimsuit say “Mac and say Cheese”? Because if it does, I want it in my life (for my daughter!). Where did you get it from?

I live for the summer and so do my kids! We are in the process of putting a pool in and I really think that’ll end up being our summer hang out spot once it’s finished! Where is there a splash pad around here? I can see my older two loving that in the meantime!
