Happy Friday & early Mother’s Day!! Our weekend is full of Mother’s Day fun, the girls plan to wake up early with Brandon to make me breakfast in bed, something I look forward to every year, a stack of pancakes smothered in nutella accompanied by three kids also smothered in nutella! 😉 I am sure I have shared this before, but when we were kids, we always woke my mom up early with breakfast in bed. As we were scrambling around cooking and getting things ready, we said over and over “we will run in her room and yell happy mother’s day!” My youngest brother was maybe three at the time, and didn’t quite understand, so when we came through her door, he went running into her bed screaming “happy buttercake!!!!”
We are volunteering most of Saturday to deliver food to local families with an organization through our church, Harper & Ellie said they think the best idea would be to deliver hot chocolate to everyone because it’s the only drink you can have that comes with marshmallows in it. Then the rest of our time will be spent changing in and out of swimsuits to play in the sprinkler sixteen times, plastering & painting our bathroom walls, packing for our beach trip & hopefully sneaking out for a quick minute to get a pedicure with my mom!

I LOVE the butter cake story! My dad, sister and I totally tried to make a Ghostbusters cake for my mom for breakfast one year and we put egg shells as the eyeballs and tried to light it on fire! It was the BEST! We totally failed, had egg shells everywhere but ended up lighting it on fire to deliver! I need to find a pic! I have NO idea how my dad came up with it without Pinterest! Hahahaha!
Do you know when they are releasing the shoes? I would love to get them for a flower girl shoe.
