Happy Friday! We are so happy it’s the weekend!! We are getting our very first glimpse of summer around here (and I swear I have friends that are still getting snow!) the girls have been happily living outside with their favorite things, sidewalk chalk & slip-n-slide.
I wanted to share a few Friday Favorites that I have had bookmarked for a while, hope you love all of these as much as I do!
Cinco de Mayo is just a week away, we always celebrate with some homemade tacos & margaritas, obsessing over these mexican street corn recipes & can’t wait to make them.
I just bought this dress for our beach trip next month, can’t wait to wear it all Summer long!
This mermaid DIY project for kids is beyond cute, we are totally saving our egg cartons to do these before Summer!
The girls got these fruity sequin tutus for Easter & I’m obsessed. Harper wants to wear hers every day, and I secretly want one in my size.
Our new favorite blanket shop for kids & babies, I can’t get over how gorgeous these prints are!!
My favorite sandals for the girls, they are so comfy and easy for them to put on, on sale for under $20!
And last but not least, If you haven’t already seen the movie SING, it is a must, so cute for both kids & adults, my girls are obsessed & the music is amazing!!
Happy weekend friends!! XO

Obsessed with that dress from Nordstrom and harpie in her sweet tutu! So sweet!
I’m obsessed with Mexican street corn! I’ve been making this recipe the last 2 summers and it’s always a hit with everyone. Leave out the cayenne for the kids and put out some Cholula for the adults. Soo good and you don’t get corn stuck in your teeth! http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2012/07/esquites-mexican-street-corn-salad-recipe.html
The warm weather sounds wonderful! We’re stuck with tons of rain in the midwest. My little guy is dying to get outside.
Can I share my favorite mexican street corn tip? If you aren’t feeling like grilling the corn and you happen to have a Trader Joe’s near you – they sell frozen roasted corn (like less than $2 a bag & its a lot of corn) and the kernels are PERFECTLY charred – just how ya want them
Granted, it’s more of a corn dish/salad & obviously not on the cob — but that also makes for easier making & eating
Love this!! yes we will try it for sure!!!!
We loved Sing. We saw it in the theater and have been listening to the soundtrack regularly since. My kids of course think “Oh my gosh, look at her butt,” is hilarious, so it’s either the Sing soundtrack or Sir Mix A Lot.
MINE TOO!!!! And of course Brandon laughed at it so now they say it non stop. They said it on their way into church the other day and I told them I don’t think we should say that at church, Harper said “ohhhh, why is there a sign that says we shouldn’t???”
Thanks for the reco on the Okd Navy sandals! I’ve been eyeing them for my little girl, but wasn’t sure if they would be easy to put on and/or comfy for her little feet! Hearing from someone that has actually bought and used them made the decision easy ??
And by Okd I mean Old ?
Have you received this dress yet? I love it but a lot of the reviews say it’s see through. Maybe because it’s supposed to be a cover up?
Just got it, yes it is a bit see through, but I think with a nude slip underneath you could still totally wear it informally!
Love all these items, and always appreciate your Friday fun list! Where is your littles tee from in that photo? I love it!
xo
Seeing your girls in their tutus reminds me of our current favorite book Love is a Tutu. If you haven’t seen it you need to check it out immediately! It’s our current obsession!
We don’t have that one, I will look for it!! XO
