Alternatively titled, ’tis the season to be caught in the pouring rain with all of your kids when walking over half a mile to your car. Because that definitely happened to me this morning, followed by my glasses falling off my head and me backing over them with my stroller. I truly hope someone saw it so they could at least get a good laugh!
While I love almost every little bit of Fall, the constant rain over here is getting just a tad bit old. We are going on two straight weeks of downpours, which means two straight weeks of the kids bouncing off the walls & using our furniture as a jungle gym. So right now, my mind is wandering to cozy stocking caps on coffee runs, warm slippers for building couch forts & snuggly sweaters for movie nights once the kids are in bed. Who’s with me?! 🙂
Grey Pom Hat // Pink Drape Cardigan // Grey Sweater Poncho // Pink Fur Pom Beanie // Mustard Infinity Scarf // Braided Knit Headwrap // Fur Slippers
And of course, cozy sweaters & knit hats are even cuter on babies!
Onesie & Moose Hat (similar here) from last year Crewcuts
I hope you all have a great weekend. And for those of you stuck inside, if the rain must pour, then so must the wine! 😉 XO

Oooh the rain sounds like a challenge. We had the first of our summer rains this week, but luckily the heaviest rain was at night! I love the mustard infinity scarf. We are heading to America and Canada for Christmas & I can't wait to get all rugged up in winter gear. Hope the rain eases a little for you x

Love your cozy sweater options, perfect for fall! The girls are so adorable, I love Harper's boots. Do you still use your Storksak diaper bag? I was looking to get one to use as a diaper bag for my girls. https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=823272007729246&tsid=0.060886257560923696&source=typeahead#!/TeamTrucker/photos/a.823288451060935.1073741827.823272007729246/823289217727525/?type=3&source=48&refid=17&_ft_=top_level_post_id.1010799968976448%3Atl_objid.1010799968976448&__tn__=E

First I think your blog is fantastic and always makes me laugh! Second we got stuck in the same downpour while at the park and after being cooped up all week we decided to just play in the rain and get soaked! Third we had a conversation once at Avalon about your beautiful girls names, and then I went home that day and was like, wait, I think I read her blog, lol. And lastly, Yes. Always look forward to naps. Too funny!!

Oh girl, I feel your pain! We are so tired of the rain! It keeps ruining our outdoor plans! Hopefully it will clear up soon! And AMEN about the wine!

I feel your pain. We've got about 7 more months of rain over here, in Seattle, and I've got a 2 year old boy and 1 year old girl. #beerme

I have never commented on a post before, but have followed your blog for a few years now. I went through a total bottle strike with my son at 10 weeks just before I was heading back to work. He would drink max 2-3 ounces from a bottle at daycare and so was attached to me from the moment I got home from work and was waking up multiple times a night. I was about to lose my mind! I seriously tried EVERY bottle (avent, madela, Dr. Brown's, platex drop-ins, latex nipples, Tommee Tippee, different flows). I thought I would never find anything that didn't make him scream until we got the Lansinoh mOmma. Life-SAVER. If you have tried it and it didn't work, I am sorry. But if you haven't tried it, I would highly recommend it. The nipples produce a similar latch to the breast and the baby completely controls the flow. We tried it and my son just took it, no issue. It was a miracle! I also found that opposite of many nursing moms…my son took the bottle best from me compared to others. I think he was used to eating with me and so felt more relaxed. He also did best if he was a little sleepy (just ready to sleep or just waking up) and NOT overly hungry. If he was tired and crazy hungry the bottle was never going to work for him, because he needed both food and comfort at that point.
Sorry for the length, but really hope that you find something that works for your daughter. Nursing can be fantastic, but all moms need a break.:)
Oh and the Nose Freida is THE BEST!
