Saturday morning was chilly & foggy, the perfect weather for hitting the pumpkin patch with the family. It was amazing having my parents come along this year, as well as my brother & his wife, we had tons of fun & definitely took home a few pounds worth of pumpkins. There are tons of big pumpkin patches in Atlanta, this is just a small one north of where we live, we love it because it is never crowded & always has a great selection. They have a firepit for roasting marshmallows, a fun treehouse area for kids to play in & amazing coffee. Harper went nuts for the actual pumpkin patch area (which they will soon bring to life as a Christmas tree farm!), all she wanted to do was sit on each & every one of them.
She kept squealing “whooooaaaaa, dat’s a huuuuuge pumpkin!” or in the case of the warty ones, “that pumpkin’s got m&ms!”
After the pumpkin patch, we met some friends to watch the Iowa game. My mom (the baby whisperer) rocked Eloise to sleep so she slept through the whole game & I ate funny faces in tortilla shells to entertain Harper. Whatever works!
Sunday, we spent most of the day relaxing & working on some projects at home. You may have seen on Instagram (@jlgarvin) that I am participating in the Home Depot Holiday Style Challenge, which means we will be styling a space in our home for Christmas (in October) using a few boxes of mystery items sent to us by Home Depot. Totally excited but also very nervous, hope I can pull it off!! 😉 Can’t wait to share some details along the way, we are currently working on a big DIY project in the garage, thankful for my handyman hubby!!
We did our weekly Target grocery run & Harper insisted that she could dress herself. Mismatched pajamas, yesterday’s skirt & her purse, she put her apple juice in while we shopped. I’m obsessed with this kid.

And I’m sure if Eloise could have dressed herself, it would have been in this. 😉 Or maybe just a bodysuit made of drool. Can you spot her two bottom teeth?
Happy Monday, friends! Wishing you all a happy week ahead! XO
