Our Week + Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!! We’ve had quite the crazy week over here, between our colds & helping my parents get settled, I am looking forward to a relaxing weekend to say the least! I totally wouldn’t mind kicking back on the couch tonight for some old school TGIF, what about you? Boy Meets World or Step By Step?!

We celebrated my dad’s birthday, which was super fun because we never get to do any of that stuff together. We had them over for dinner & Harper helped me make some mint dark chocolate cupcakes. Then according to this picture, it looks like both girls helped blow out the candles!

It has been muggy as all get out, but when we finally had a cool morning this week I took the girls to play at the park with some friends & then to throw coins in the fountain. A few dollars worth of nickles later, we stopped into the bookstore, where we picked up the newest BabyLit book just in time for Fall. Ok, I guess I don’t know if the Wizard of Oz is actually Fall related or not, but it seems like it to me. Maybe because it’s always a classic Halloween costume theme? 🙂

My favorite finds this week are all part of the cozy Fall feeling that I am craving. Comfy over the knee socks, matching skirted one-pieces for the girls & this jewel embellished sweatshirt that I have had my eye on forever & it is finally on sale!! I have been going a little crazy about all of the new Bath & Body Works Fall scents, have you gotten your hands on any of the Maple-Popcorn-Waffle-Pumpkin-Everything goodness?!

And if you love Anthropologie as much as I do, this hilarious parody about their furniture may just give you a much needed laugh. I died at the Harold & the Purple Crayon part! 😉 Thanks to my brother for this gem, he knows me all too well!
