Easy Like Monday Morning

Kidding. There’s nothing easy about a Monday morning, but I’ve had the song in my head all day. We are taking off today for Iowa for a few days & are just slightly nervous about all this long day of travel will entail. But of course, so excited to get there & see all of our family and friends!!

It was a busy weekend, packed & played outside since the weather was beautiful. I went to a painting workshop Saturday & can’t wait to share some pictures from the studio! We took the girls to the Sunday Farmers Market yesterday morning, then I worked on a Farmers Market themed chalkboard for a sweet friend’s daughter’s first birthday party this week!! Such a cute theme right?! I will be sure to share pictures of the party! 😉

We had our first fun family dinner with my parents & brothers (and my brother’s dog that Harper is obsessed with) last night & to say goodbye before our trip. They get to stay at our place while we’re gone as they’re having some painting & flooring done in their new house. Maybe my mom will feel ambitious & finish painting here while we’re gone? 😉

This skirt from Target is the most adorable thing EVER. It is super stretchy & structured for the most flattering look, plus it’s only $20! And not to mention, black & white stripes go with just about anything! I plan to pair it with a chambray shirt & my ballet flats for some wedding festivities this week! 😉
